QR FILTERSKINS have a special sewn in tab and drawstring that runs to a velcro tab on the rear fender. Midpoint through a dusty or wet race, a slight tug on the velcro tab will clean the air filter by removing the FILTERSKIN from the air filter. This is done without removing the seat and eliminates the problems associated with a dirty and possibly clogged air filter. QR FILTERSKINS are reusable and can be used with most foam air filters that install with a wing nut.
DIRECTIONS: Completely saturate the FILTERSKIN with a suitable air filter oil and squeeze out the excess oil. Stretch an oiled FILTERSKIN over a clean, oiled air filter. Attach the velcro right behind the seat on the rear fender. Cut and tie the appropriate length of string from the tab on the FILTERSKIN to the velcro.
Clean FILTERSKINS with solvent, followed by soap and water.
