Dyna Hose Installation Steps

Step 1

Now your oil adapter is installed and tight. Locate hose ( A ). Add a few drops of oil to the inside threads of the fitting this is an important step because it will prevent stripping and will give you a good seal.

Step 2

Adding a few drops of oil to the fittings.

Step 3

Place the hose between the engine case and the engine mount as seen in step 4 now hand start the 90 degree fitting to the Front AN-6 Fitting on the oil adapter. Make sure it goes on smooth and spins free. Note the angle of the fitting. Just hand tight for now.

Step 5

Locate hose ( B ) And add a few drops of oil to the fittings and run the hose between the down tube and the engine case. Hand start the 45 degree fitting to the front AN-6 fitting on the oil adapter. Should look like photo. Just hand tight for now.

Step 6

Locate fan and cooler assembly and place it on the mounting bracket . Hand start ( 1 ) ¼” x 20 cover bolt from the bottom to hold cooler on bracket. Hand start the 45 degree fitting from hose ( B ) to the Left AN-6 fitting on the cooler assembly. Just hand tight too.

Step 7

Making the connection on the left side cooler assembly.

Step 8

Now connect the 90 degree fitting from hose ( B ) to the right AN-6 Fitting on the cooler assembly. Just hand tight for now.

Step 9

Now all of the fittings are connected check the angles of the fittings. Now look if the lines are making any contact with any wires or can be rubbing on a frame. If so locate the pieces of split rubber hose in the kit and open up and slide over hose to the location of the rubbing. Use a tie strap to hold it in place.

Step 10

Locate the fitting wrench a ratchet and extension.
