Notice the install in this video. You may have to push pretty hard when installing the filter, (until it kind of snaps all the way in place) then all will line up for the air filter clips

The 2024-2025 KX450 and KX250 models feature a “Quick Change” air filter, but the pressure on the air filter sealing area may not be sufficient, which can lead to dirt leakage. The Pro-Seal from PC Racing provides a tighter, more reliable fit, ensuring that no dirt can pass through the air filter sealing area.
Pro-Seal is designed to provide a perfect filter-to-airbox seal without the mess of traditional air filter grease. Made from durable neoprene, the gasket adheres to the inside of the motorcycle’s airbox and creates a larger sealing surface, offering a perfect seal every time. The adhesive used is resistant to oils and gases, ensuring the Pro-Seal stays in place once installed.
Easy Installation:
Thoroughly clean the airbox with a strong degreaser (contact or brake cleaner) to remove all oil and grease residue.
Peel the backing paper off the Pro-Seal.
Lightly align the Pro-Seal in place.
Press firmly for a perfect fit— you may need to push hard until it “snaps” into place, ensuring everything lines up correctly for the air filter clips.
